Upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 on Windows 2000

Anyone using the Internet should have an Internet browser, and Internet Explorer 7 is an option. It is used by millions of people around the world. By default, Windows 2000 comes with an older version of Internet Explorer, compared to IE 7 which is much easier, simpler and sophisticated. IE 7 is free to download and very easy to install.

Instructions

1.Click on the link below to refer to the Microsoft website where you can download IE 7.

2.Select your operating system from the drop-down list.

3.Click the "Go" button.

4.Click "Download" and a small file download box will appear on the screen. It asks if you want "Run file" or "Save". Select "Run" as saving the setup files available directly on the internet is useless. The file will download quickly.

5.Double-click the .exe file you just downloaded. Follow the on-screen installation instructions and license agreement to complete the installation. When you're done, you'll upgrade your Internet Explorer to version 7.
